WOMAN UPSET WITH NAME OF NEIGHBOR’S DOG

A British woman went on Reddit looking for advice (* By the way, NEVER go on Reddit looking for advice). She wanted to know how to get her neighbor to change his dog’s name because she thinks it’s “inappropriate” and “offensive.” The dog is called Boner. She says, “Every morning I hear ‘Boner, Boner, BONER COME BACK INSIDE!'” She says, “It may sound funny when you first hear it – but I hear this every day.” The woman says she is a “huge dog lover” and regularly pets the Labrador from over the fence. (* Boner must be pretty big, then.) She said she once asked him whether he has considered changing his dog’s name because it’s inappropriate, but “He just laughed and went back into his house.”
* He’s named that because he likes bones, right? Oh, let’s hope so.
* As far as advice questions go, this is a hard one.
* At least he’s a Labrador and not, say, a wiener dog.
* Or a Pointer.
* Did we mention the dog owner’s name is Dick Harden?
