WOMAN SETS RECORD RUNNING ON ALL FOURS

A Canadian woman set a Guinness World Record on Monday when she completed a 100-meter run in 22.99 seconds while running on all fours. Julie McCann, 38, of Vernon, British Columbia, ran on her hands and feet – imagine a horse galloping – and finished well under the 25-second goal mandated by Guinness World Records. Said McCann: “I just gave birth to my third child, and I thought this would give me the motivation to get into being active again. More than anything else, I want to prove to myself that I can do it.”
* How is this not an Olympic event?
* Yeah this seems like exactly the kind of thing obstetricians would want women to do after giving birth.
* Does she know we spent a million years learning to walk upright so we wouldn’t have to do this?
* She didn’t want to do a post-race interview because she was a little hoarse.
* She could have gone faster if she didn’t have that little monkey jockey sitting on her back.
* Sadly, she twisted her ankle walking off the track, so they had to put her down.
