WOMAN FINED FOR WEARING SKIMPY BIKINI

A Taiwanese woman was arrested and fined for wearing a bikini on the beach during her vacation on the Philippines resort island of Boracay. The tourist, who has not been named, was warned by hotel management not to wear the string bikini on the island’s famous white-sand beaches on October 9. He told her that the swimwear was “inappropriate” – but she wore it anyway. The woman was arrested the next day when she wore another string bikini to the beach. A police spokesman said she was fined US$48 for the “erotic” outfit. The local police chief, Jess Baylon, said that while the couple’s domestic customs may be different, “they have to respect our culture and tradition, and our proper decorum.”
* Thank you, Chief Jess “Mr. Carson from Downton Abbey” Baylon.
* I don’t know. The evidence is pretty insufficient.
* “You honor, may I present the bikini bottom, Exhibit A, and the bikini top, Exhibit Double D.”
* The sign said “Fine for wearing bikinis,” and so she did.
* The Philippines can’t stomach torsos.
