WOMAN FALLS OFF CLIFF TAKING PICTURE OF FRIEND JUMPING INTO RIVER
A 23-year-old woman in Roseburg, Oregon, was taking photos of her friend jumping into a river when she suddenly slipped – and plunged 90 feet off a cliff at the river’s edge to her death. The woman, Sydney Craft, and her friend were visiting the North Umpqua River northeast of the city. Her friend tried unsuccessfully to give the woman CPR, police said.
* Folks, please leave the cliff diving to the professionals.
* At least she wasn’t tracking Pokemon. That would have been embarrassing.
* Or shoot herself with a gun trying to take a selfie.
* Two words: “Darwin Awards.”
* Gravity is so consistent. It never takes a moment off.
* 90 feet off a cliff? Yeah, that would do it all right.
* Maybe we need a cliff app.
* Maybe all photo devices should be sold with a parachute.
