WOMAN BUYS BARGAIN FREEZER FOR $30. GUESS WHAT'S INSIDE?

A woman in Goldsborough, North Carolina, bought a freezer from her neighbor for $30. The neighbor told her that a Sunday school class had last used the freezer as a “time capsule”. The church was supposed to come and pick up the freezer’s contents. They never turned up, so the new owner eventually opened it to take a look. Inside was a body. The buyer almost immediately figured out that the remains are the previous owner’s mother, who had lived with her daughter for years in the house next door, though she hadn’t been seen since September. The daughter said she was going to West Virginia to visit her mother, who she said was in a nursing home. She skipped town and hasn’t been seen since. “She sold me her frozen mother for $30. How do you do something like that?” the woman said.
* Yes, that’s cold.
* How do you do something like that? I don’t know – how do you consider buying a freezer and not look inside it first?
* She was hoping to find a Popsicle, but she found a Momsicle.
* I thought having somebody iced was just an expression.
* It just happened, but it’s already a cold case.
* The worst part? It cost more that $30 to get rid of the body, so now she’s behind on the deal.
* Okay, mark this story for the Halloween file.
* No, it’d be perfect for Halloween. You tell the kids if they want candy to go open the fridge in the front yard.
* Isn’t that a saying? All major appliances go to heaven?
* I still say it’s a nice break from the North Carolina trangender stories.
* How about the way the woman tried to blame this on a Sunday school class? That’s going out of your way to be evil.
