WOMAN BEATS HUSBAND OVER "WRONG FLOWERS AND CANDY"

A Holmes Beach, Florida, woman allegedly pummeled her spouse because he got her “the wrong flowers and candy” for Mother’s Day. Investigators allege that Virginia Stewart, 42, attacked her spouse during an argument early Sunday after quarreling with him over the flowers and candy. Stewart reportedly threw cups around the room, punched her husband several times and hit him in the head with a coat hanger. Stewart was arrested for domestic battery and booked into the county jail. She was released from custody Monday after posting $750 bond.
