WANTED MAN DIES IN BEDSHEET-ROPE FALL

A Brooklyn, New York, man fell to his death on Tuesday while trying to evade arrest by rappelling 11 stories down his apartment building using a rope of tied-together bed sheets. Police were attempting to arrest Jamel Chandler, 21, and two other men for a past robbery. According to witnesses, Chandler strung together several bed sheets, anchored them to a window, and tried to climb down, but a knot came loose, and he fell seven stories. He was taken to Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he died of his injuries.
* He was also wanted for felony cliche’.
* He was no Boy Scout. If he had been, he would have known how to tie a knot.
* Sheet happens.
* Instead of tying sheets together, he should have used one as a parachute.
* That’s the second bed sheet death in the news this week if you count Aaron Hernandez.
* The difference is Aaron’s knot definitely didn’t let him loose.
* Unless this guy was living in a linen shop I doubt he had enough sheets to make it to the bottom anyway.
* Wow, it always goes so much better in the movies.
