WALMART REFUSES CONFEDERATE FLAG CAKE, MAKES ISIS FLAG CAKE

In another stunning example of what happens when you try to be politically correct, a man in Louisiana asked his local Walmart to make a cake with a Confederate flag design. After Walmart banned all confederate flag products from its stores last week, the man’s cake design was rejected. So he asked for a cake with an ISIS flag design. Walmart said yes. Chuck Netzhammer said he ordered the image of the Confederate flag on a cake with the words, “Heritage Not Hate,” on Thursday at a Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana. But the bakery denied his request, he said. He later ordered the image of the ISIS flag that represents the terrorist group. “ISIS happens to be somebody who we’re fighting against right now who are killing our men and boys overseas and are beheading Christians,” Netzhammer said. “That’s an ISIS battleflag cake that anybody can go buy at Walmart. But you can’t buy a Confederate flag toy, with like, say, a ‘Dukes of Hazzards’ car.” A spokesman for Walmart later said, “An associate in a local store did not know what the design meant and made a mistake. The cake should not have been made and we apologize.”

* Your average American isn’t even close to being well educated enough to handle today’s world.
* We have to memorize flags of the world now?
* On the other hand, Walmart wants to make it perfectly clear they’ll still accept all denominations of money bearing the pictures of our slave-owning founding fathers.
* I’m confused. How’s he going to get this cake to ISIS?
* Oh, how I hate to see cake dragged into this quagmire.
* Now it’s just a matter of waiting for the lawsuits.
* What if it’s a gay wedding cake with a Confederate flag on it? How do you handle that?
* Or how about if the Dukes of Hazzard guys want to get married now and use the General Lee to leave the church?
* You know, maybe ISIS would be nicer if they all had a nice slice of cake.
