WALMART ELECTRIC CART SEAT CRAWLING WITH BEDBUGS
Jose Avalos de Leon and his wife, Lupita Cruz, were shopping at a Phoenix-area Walmart last weekend when de Leon, who has an injured toe, noticed something very wrong with one of the store’s electronic chairs. Cruz wrote on Facebook: “As we are driving through the store he feels that his back is itchy. As he’s going through the store a little more he notices it’s getting worse.” When Jose got up to check the chair, they found the ventilated screen at the lower-back area of the seat was crawling with bed bugs. Lupita said a manager was called, but he claimed didn’t see any of the bugs that were clearly crawling over the seat. Walmart said the carts have been pulled from public use while they examine the carts.
* Wow. As if butts aren’t disgusting enough to start with.
* I know another word for electric cart is “buggy,” but this is nuts.
* There’s an electric scooter called a “Rascal,” and the Walmart scooters have their own little rascals.
* And these are the people building the robot shopping carts?
* Could have been worse. Could have been infested with hornets.
* At this point, Walmart has overtaken Legoes and is starting to generate one story a day.
* Watch out, J.K. Rowling. Walmart is on your trail.
* Meanwhile the bedbugs were thinking, “This is the weirdest bed ever.”
* “Would someone at least drive us to the bed linen aisle?”
