TRUCK HAULING FIRE EXTINGUISHERS CRASHES, BURNS

An 18-wheeler hauling fire extinguishers caught fire on Interstate 10 in Mississippi Tuesday afternoon. Mississippi Highway Patrol said the 18-wheeler left the road and hit the Old Fort Bayou Road overpass in Jackson County. The truck caught fire after the wreck.
* That there is called irony.
* So fire extinguishers can catch fire?
* Could we get Bill Nye the Science Guy to explain this one?
* If only part of the cargo had been old asbestos.
* Did the fire extinguisher company have insurance, or did they get burned?
* I like the names here. The Old Fort Bayou Road gives it some real authentic Mississippi flavor.
* You can almost here the slide guitar lick as the truck approached the bridge.
* Next, you get the crash and the flames. It’s Mississippi Burning all over again.
* Then the old sheriff in the squad car rolls up with one of those classic accents: “We’ve got a heap of trouble here, boy.”
* I’m picturing Rod Steiger – the sheriff from “In the Heat of the Night.”
