TREE FALLS ON FAMILY IN CENTRAL PARK
Three children and their mother were hurt Tuesday when a massive tree fell on top of them in New York’s Central Park. The woman was briefly knocked out, then regained consciousness and immediately asked about her children. The children were pulled out from under the tree’s branches, but they did not appear to have any serious injuries. Authorities have not yet said what caused the tree to fall.
* Was it a confederate tree, pulled down by social activists?
* Maybe the tree was trying to get to a different place in the park?
* “If I can just pull these roots up, I bet I can walk!”
* Wasn’t this a famous book, “A Tree Falls In or Near Brooklyn”?
* They’re going to say the base of the tree was weakened by transients peeing on it. I just know it.
* Hopefully the kids’ trauma will be gone before it’s time to put up the Christmas tree.
