TOWN SMELLS LIKE CAT URINE

The smell of cat urine has been permeating the town of Croton-on-Hudson, New York. The smell has perplexed the local fire department that is determined to find the source of the odor. “The mystery smell around much of Harmon had our crew out around 11:50 this morning,” the Croton-on-Hudson fire department wrote on Facebook. The fire department joined Con Edison workers to check manholes, storm drains and inside some homes, but were unable to find the source. “We will continue to report on any updates or information we may receive on the ‘Curious Case of the Cat Urine Odor’ that continues to intrigue all of us,” the fire department wrote.

* Get on of those tanker planes that drops water on forest fires, and fill it with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda.
* Meanwhile, all the cats in town are like: “Don’t look at me!”
* How bad is it? Bad. They first noticed the smell drifting across the border in Canada.
* “The Curious Case of the Cat Urine Odor”? Sounds like we’ve got a Sherlock Holmes fan here.
* You know it’s bad when your town is described as a “giant litter box.”
* If it stinks this bad in February wait ’til July rolls around.
* Hold on, is that “Hudson” in the town’s name a reference to the Hudson River? Because I think we might have found the problem.
