THINGS PEOPLE HAVE LEFT BEHIND IN HOTEL ROOMS

BuzzFeed asked what odd things people have found left behind in hotel rooms. Some of the answers (that are acceptable for use on the air!):
– “I don’t know how he got in, but a guy checked out once and left, like, 20 cats in his room. Living cats.”
– “A half-eaten candy thong on the floor.”
– “A snake in a terrarium.”
– “I’ve found a rat in a juice jar.”
– “A heavy stench of weed and, in the bathroom, they had put a fireplace in the shower, with a little fire going.”
– “We had one woman stay a week and then leave everything behind. And I mean everything. Clothes, makeup, hair styling tools, shoes. And this wasn’t crap stuff; about 50% was high-end.”
– “We booked a honeymoon package. Someone had tossed rose petals around the room and added some decorations for the couple’s magical night. There was also – presumably as a joke – a 3×3 printout of the bride’s father with a massive, cheesy grin and a thumbs-up taped to the ceiling directly above the bed.”
– “I found a stained, laminated photo of a pig wearing lingerie in a hotel here in Alabama.”
* And THAT is why you don’t let Mötley Crüe stay at your motel.
* How does this work? Do they use the check-in information to mail this stuff back to them?
* Usually all people leave behind in motel rooms are sad memories.
* Funny that no one calls the front desk for any of these things: “Hey, did you guys find a rat in a juice jar after I left? Can you hang on to that for me?”
* At least nobody left behind, like, an annoying teenager.
