THE PAKISTANI POLICE ROLLERBLADE SQUAD

Police in Karachi, Pakistan, now have an armed rollerblading unit. The 20-member squad on wheels will be assigned to public places with a higher incidence of street crime like theft and harassment. Farrukh Ali, chief of the unit, explaining that officers with guns on rollerblades could more easily chase thieves on motorcycles through the city, although rollerblading police could not be deployed across many parts of Karachi due to the poor road conditions.
* “Stop or I’ll pull a fakie!”
* Officers on rollerblades can more easily chase thieves on motorcycles. Especially if they lasso the motorcycle and get pulled for a ride. Wheee!!!
* The rollerblades are okay. It’s the short shorts that are so off-putting.
* “Stop in the name of my super-developed calves!!”
* It’s good to see that part of the world finally move into the ’90’s. Especially when so much of it is still in the 1890’s.
* Wait’ll they find out about Segway scooters. They’ll go nuts.
