TEXAS MAN BRINGS BEER TO JURY DUTY

A 23-year-old Tyler, Texas, man showed up for jury duty Wednesday morning slurring his speech and looking sluggish. Sheriff’s deputies asked him what was in the large Coca Cola cup he had walked in with. It was beer. The man was charged with public intoxication and booked at the Smith County Jail down the street from the courthouse.
