TEACHER RESIGNS TO BECOME FULL-TIME LICE HUNTER

Hilary Reeser of Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, has found a new calling: to help eradicate lice. Her commitment to it is so strong that she resigned as a high school teacher to focus on the business she launched late last year: Lice Clinics of America. It started when her daughter got a case of lice that was not going away after the use of over-the-counter remedies. She searched for alternatives, and came across a device that combs through hair and sucks away lice and eggs. She opened her own local part-time lice clinic last September, but the demand for the service has been so large, she is now committing to it full-time.
* It’s horrible, where your job is dealing with little pests all day. I’m talking about school kids.
* Talk about starting a business from scratch.
* Most awkward waiting room ever?
* Folks, when you start a wacky business, would you please refrain from having it become a runaway success? It makes it really hard for us to make fun of you.
* Lice Clinics of America. Or, you can just vacuum your head.
* Is this why Penn State calls their team the Nittany Lions? (Lice eggs are called nits.)
