STUDY: LIBERALS LIKE LATTES

Researchers from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania surveyed 1,500 Americans about their coffee preferences, political ideology, household income and attitudes toward globalization:
– They found that liberals drink more lattes.
– A majority of Americans, regardless of political ideology, preferred regular brewed coffee to lattes, but those who do drink lattes were more likely to be liberal, the study found.
– The researchers could not explain the relationship between lattes and liberals, except to say that perhaps conservatives may view lattes as foreign products or un-American ones, despite the fact that they’re made in America.
* Biased much?
* That’s like saying conservatives hate lattes because the gun oil all over their hands makes them taste bad.
* That’s like saying liberals like lattes because they reinforce their pose of smug superiority.
* Liberals like lattes. Conservatives consume coffee. It’s all in the alliteration.
