STUDY: ATTRACTIVE PEOPLE GET BETTER GRADES
A new study out of Lund University in Sweden claims to show that one’s level of attractiveness correlates with the quality of grades students earn in school. The recent study, conducted by an economics researcher, used facial recognition software that identified different facial “attractiveness” characteristics of students and compared them to marks received. Students with qualities deemed as “attractive” received better grades in non-quantatative courses, where grades are less number-driven and rely more on face-to-face interactions with the teachers.

* First of all: how do you find an unattractive person in Sweden?
* Wow. For a study of attractiveness, the results aren’t pretty.
* Maybe some students should go back to wearing masks.
* When the school kept telling my parents I was below average, they weren’t talking about my grades, were they?
* No wonder my teachers kept telling me I had to study harder.
