SECOND MAN ARRESTED IN GOLDEN TOILET THEFT

A second arrest was made in connection with the theft of an 18-carat gold toilet art installation at Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Police said that, in addition to a 66-year-old man arrested last Saturday, they had also arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle. However, they believe the job was pulled off by a crew using at least two vehicles. The “art” was a fully functioning solid gold toilet, a satirical statement about excessive wealth. It’s valued at 1 million pounds ($1.25 million) and has not yet been recovered.
* Satirical, huh? Who’s laughing now?
* We don’t need art criticizing excess wealth. We already hate the super-rich.
* A second arrest. So that would be number two.
* A solid gold toilet. Finally one that deserves the name “throne”.
* (To repeat our joke from the original posting) By now, that toilet has been smelted.
