RAPTOR FIGHT IN MAN'S LIVING ROOM

Trent Davis was in Cave Creek, Arizona, on Sunday visiting his dad who has cancer. He was helping his dad out of bed when he heard a huge thump in the living room. He went to investigate. In the corner of the room there was a falcon, and a big hawk. They were fighting over a dove. Davis had left the door open to let in fresh air, and all three birds had flown into the living room. At that point, Davis said his father started yelling, “Get them out of here, get them out.” Davis put on a leather jacket and sweat pants and flip flops and got a broom, thinking he could shoo them away. But that seemed to only anger the hawk. The bird spread its wings and charged at him. He ran away like any smart person (* or little girl) would. Then, Davis called 911. Deputies were able to capture each of the birds in bed sheets and took them outside, where they set them free. “The one night I’m supposed to watch my dad and then a hawk attacks my dad, I’m gonna be in trouble with my mom.”
* (Sad trombone) Wah – waaahhhhhhh …
* Time to get a screen door.
* What a loser! Not even a YouTube video!
* Falcon versus Hawk versus Pigeon. Worst Superhero Movie ever.
* Dang! It’s Halloween! Imagine how he could have freaked them out with a Batman costume!
* Who won the pigeon dinner?
* I’m sorry but you have to be ready for stuff like this.
* And that’s when the squirrel came down the chimney.
* It almost sounds like one of those prissy novel titles: The Falcon, The Dove and the Big Hawk.
* Next time try hitting them with a tennis racket.
* So the birds were literally three sheets to the wind.
