PROPELLER FALLS OFF STUDENT PILOT'S PLANE
A single-engine airplane made an emergency landing last Thursday morning in an Ormond Beach, Florida, field after the plane lost its propeller in flight. According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, the plane, carrying a flight instructor and a student pilot, lost its propeller, and the instructor took control of the aircraft and landed it safely in an open field. There were no injuries in the incident, and no damage to the plane.
* That guy the propeller fell on, however …
* No damage to the plane? How about the upholstery on the seats? No stains at all?
* To fly in a plane like this, you’d have to have a screw loose.
* I’m not an aviation expert, but I always thought the propeller was a vital part of the flying experience.
* Especially in a single-engine plane.
* No damage to the plane? The propeller fell off, you idiots. Isn’t that damage enough?
* The student pilot has now been certified for flying a glider.
* Wait, they landed in an open field in Florida? That’s where the invasive snakes hide out!
* PHONE TOPIC: “Oh, My God, What Did You Do?” Ever have a major incident like this happen to you? What did you do?
