NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET TURNS OUT TO BE PET SEMATARY
It was a literal nightmare on Elm Street for a Texas woman when workers renovating her backyard this month found an old rusted coffin with bones still inside. Deedee Oliveira, who recently bought the house on Elm Street in Mission, Texas, received a call on Tuesday from workers after they hit a hard object in the ground. When the workers used an excavator to lift the object from the dirt, Oliveira said she couldn’t believe a casket was hanging from the metal chain. One of the workers said that he had seen bones. The bones, it turned out, belonged to the previous owner’s beloved cocker spaniel. Workers later dug up cat bones inside a tool box buried near the coffin. “Thank God it was a dog and not human remains,” Oliveira said. “If not, I think I would’ve gone crazy.”
* Yeah! It would have meant the guy had the head of a dog!
* And that’s when the pet hauntings began.
* Anything else the previous owner wants to let her know? Is there anyone buried under the water heater?
* The dog kept burying things in the yard. Then finally it was his turn.
* The cat just got a tool box? Where’s the respect?
* Well, at least her Halloween decorations are covered this year.
* Just leave the casket dangling from the excavator. That’ll impress the trick-or-treaters.
* There’s two horror movies you can go with here: “Nightmare on Elm Street” or “Pet Sematary.”
