MOM SURPRISES COED DAUGHTER, ENDS UP IN WRONG ROOM
McKenna Pilling, an 18-year-old freshman at Utah State University, received a surprise selfie from her mother on Friday. It was a picture of her mom, laying in a bed, with the caption: “Look where I am!” A follow-up text read, “where are you?” McKenna wrote back, “In my dorm. Where are you?” And then, “Please tell me you are not in someone else’s dorm?” Her mom write back, “I am in the wrong dorm omg.” McKenna’s mother, Deanna, traveled from New York to surprise her daughter and help her move out of college for the summer. She had waited there for about five minutes and decided to lay down in the bed and take a selfie to surprise her daughter.
* Hey, tell it to the dean.
* At least the Mom didn’t end up in the right room and find some dude with her daughter.
* This is one of those ones where it would be completely different if it was Dad and not Mom.
* At some point surprising your college-age daughter at school becomes a very, very bad idea.
* On the bright side, now that Mom’s been publicly humiliated across the entire planet, she probably won’t try this again.
* You can tell Mom wants to be one of the gang when she drops an “omg” in her text.
