MOM ALLOWS NON-VENOMOUS SNAKE TO BITE 1-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

A Sebring, Florida, mother is under fire after posting a video to Facebook that shows her allowing a small rat snake to bite her 1-year-old daughter. The unnamed woman said the snake had bitten her and her son several times and didn’t leave a mark, so she thought it was a good opportunity to introduce her daughter to snakes without actually getting hurt. In the video the mother holds up a container with a rat snake inside and lets her daughter reach toward the snake. The daughter flinches and cries each time the snake strikes her. The family lives on a 9-acre wooded lot where there is lots of wildlife, and she believes the kids need to be taught how to handle reptiles.
