MCDONALD'S GARLIC FRIES ARE HUGE HIT
McDonald’s new garlic fries are in high demand. The chain starting testing the fries at four locations in San Francisco a couple weeks ago. Within a matter of days, the restaurants sold out of the new menu item. The success of the test means the fries will likely become a permanent menu item. The fried potatoes are seasoned with garlic grown in Gilroy, California – a place known as “the garlic capital of the world.” The made-to-order fries are tossed with a purée mix of Gilroy garlic and olive oil, parmesan cheese, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
* So much for the secret recipe.
* Better start offering a McBreath Mint.
* This will get real pleasant around August when everybody starts sweating garlic.
* The garlic has also cut way down on the number of vampires hanging around McDonald’s.
* I didn’t say eliminate them completely. Just cut down on them.
* They always say a pinch of salt. Ask your blood pressure how much of a pinch it was.
* The fries are “made-to-order”? Isn’t everything you order at a food place “made-to-order”?
* I mean, if you didn’t order it, they wouldn’t make it, right?
* Next up: Garlic shakes.
