MAN WHO CHANGED NAME TO “MICHAEL JACKSON” WANTS TO CHANGE IT BACK
A British superfan who changed his name to Michael Jackson now wants to change it back because of the “Leaving Neverland” documentary. John Lomas, 38, a factory worker from Malvern, Worcestershire, said he now worries that prospective employers won’t hire a guy named “Michael Jackson”. Lomas said he had a fan’s obsession with Michael Jackson, and spent thousands and thousands on souvenirs and memorabilia. A few years ago, he legally changed his name to Michael Jackson. But after viewing the documentary, he said ‘no more’. Lomas threw away all the paraphernalia, and has set up a GoFundMe account to try to raise the roughly $160 to change his name back. As of Tuesday afternoon, not a single person had pitched in.
* Lomas, or Dumbass?
* “I’m not sure if we can hire you, Mr. Jackson. You’re white, British, 20 years younger than Michael and alive. But how do we know you won’t act like him?”
* I’d give him $200 if he’d change his name to R. Kelly right now.
* How many Harvey Weinsteins are out there d’ya think?
