MAN PUNCHES BEAVER

A beaver bit a man on the hand Sunday night after the man punched the beaver in the head near a pond in the Falls Church, Virginia. The man says the incident began when the beaver came out of the water, bit his shoe and wouldn’t let go. In an attempt to get the beaver to release his shoe, the man punched the beaver in the head several times and then fell backward. The man sustained a cut to the hand while punching the beaver. The beaver was not caught, so authorities weren’t able to test it for rabies, police said. The man will undergo treatment for the rabies virus as a precaution.
* Well … dam.
* Warning, Virginians: there’s an untested beaver on the loose.
* What kind of shoes was he wearing? Timberland, I bet.
* Finally, the beaver ran back into the water. Then the clams attacked.
* Have you seen the teeth on a beaver? He’s lucky he still has a hand.
* Remember, they chew through logs.
* If only there was a way to describe how energetic beavers are. “Busy as a something…” I can’t think of it.
* You know, when you let an animal treat you like this, it makes the entire human population look bad.
