MAN HIT BY FALLING REFRIGERATOR

A Jersey City, New Jersey man is in critical condition after a refrigerator fell on him Wednesday. Some men were unloading the refrigeration unit from a truck in front of a deli. The victim, who was not initially part of the group and was across the street at the time, saw the men lifting the machine and volunteered to help them. The refrigerator somehow slipped and landed on him. The other men used a metal bar to pry the refrigeration unit off the victim, who also hit his head during the fall. The man suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident.
