Here’s a new thing: Hurrication photos. As Hurricane Florence threatens to hit the Carolinas this week, locals and visitors are making the best of the natural disaster by posting “Hurrication” photos on Instagram. One user uploaded a photo of herself enjoying beer with her friends, writing: “Cheers to hoping hurricane Florence is kind to us here in Charleston.” Many are posting bikini photos, hair blowing in the breeze as they stand amongst the turbulent waves.
* Evacuation, shmevacuation.
* Yikes. Kinda reminds me of all those summer stories of people being harpooned by flying beach umbrellas.
* Hurrication is better than a fiesta-phoon (fiesta/typhoon) or a two-weeks-with-paynado.
* This just in: The Weather Channel wants you all to stop goofing around with their big story.
