GUY SHOOTS AT CIVIL WAR REENACTORS

In McIntosh County, Oklahoma, a man was arrested Friday after firing live rounds at actors participating in a Civil War reenactment. Deputies arrived at the scene and quickly located suspect Gary Alen Lane. Officials said Lane was drunk and holding a loaded sawed-off shotgun. Lane ran from deputies and threw the gun on the ground. More firearms were found in his home nearby. During the investigation, deputies found nine rounds fired into a tent with several actors inside. One reenactor was struck in the arm with a pellet, but he did not sustain an injury.
* No injury? What’s his name? Clark Kent?
* So what are we saying? Was the guy so drunk that he thought the Civil War was still going on?
* Who knows? Maybe in McIntosh County, Oklahoma it still IS going on.
* This guy is just begging for a court martial.
* He swore to deputies he was going to try to escape and get to President Lincoln.
* Only one person was hit with one pellet? So on top of everything else, Gary’s a terrible shot.
* Isn’t “Civil War reenactment” just a classy way of saying grown-up men acting like little kids playing guns?
* I’m not judging – I’m just asking here.
