GROCERY STORE REMAINED OPEN WITH BODY ON THE FLOOR

A man died at a Carrefour Brasil supermarket in Brazil’s northeastern state of Recife, but his body was left on the floor covered with umbrellas and surrounded by cardboard boxes while the store remained open for business. The man was an employee – a sales manager – who fell ill inside the store. First aid was given and an ambulance was called. After the man died, Carrefour said it followed guidelines to not remove the body from its place. The handling of the August 14th incident caused outrage as images went viral on social media, as people wondered why the body was not removed and the store did not close. Officials at Carrefour Brasil apologized on Wednesday, admitting that its handling of the incident was inappropriate.
* “All baggers to Aisle 3… all baggers to aisle 3…”
* His body was covered with umbrellas and surrounded by cardboard boxes? No, no, no – they should have built a really high wall of canned soda all around him. Blends right in.
* I guess he used… the Express Checkout.
* Today’s special… is DEATH!
* The poor grocery manager hit his expiration date.
