GOLF COURSE RAGE

Michael Plumlee was attacked at the Indian Greek Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas, by a fellow golfer on Friday. Kevin Sivilay was in a foursome that began hitting fairway shots at Plumlee and his three friends. After a ball landed near Plumlee, he tossed it off the green. Sivilay then ran at Plumlee and attacked him, hitting him in the back of the head with his club, and continuing to hit him after he fell to the ground. Plumlee was knocked unconscious and rushed to a hospital with a fractured skull. Sivilay is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
* Also using an iron on the green when he should have used a putter.
* And now Plumlee has a handicap.
* I think a fractured skull entitles Plumlee to a Mulligan.
* “Is this a divot or a piece of his head?”
* Nice of the three friends to step up and do nothing.
* So not all the violence last Friday was at the shopping centers.
* Kevin Sivilay ain’t too civilized.
* Wow, fighting with clubs. How Stone Age is that?

* I picture the caddy consulting with this golfer: “How much club do I need for a fractured skull?” “I’d recommend a 9 iron.”
