FRIED CHICKEN-LOVING ROBBER RETURNS TO SCENE OF THE CRIME
A man who robbed a New York City fried chicken restaurant in July was arrested last Thursday after returning to the scene of the crime for second helpings. Christopher Schlosser, 21, allegedly stormed into a Texas Chicken and Burger location in the Bronx to steal fried chicken and biscuits from behind the counter back on July 27. At the time, the suspect’s face was only partially obscured during the robbery. So when Schlosser walked into the restaurant last Thursday, an employee recognized him from the incident. “He thought we didn’t know him,” said Texas Chicken employee Abdul Mustawu. “This guy punched me and took my chicken and my biscuits. I know him. Call the police.”
* I’m shocked! Somebody stays at a fast food job more than four months?
* There’s something to be said for using the drive-thru.
* There’s an ad campaign in this.
* There’s “food to die for”, and there’s “food to serve 18 months to 2 years for”.
* Now Schlosser says it was entrapment because the chicken and biscuits are irresistible.
