FLEEING MOTORCYCLIST CRASHES, IS CUT IN HALF

In Bay City, Michigan, a motorcyclist was severed at the waist during a crash while fleeing police. Troopers started the brief chase Sunday night after seeing a motorcycle speeding and swerving. The driver, 47-year-old Christopher Henry, accelerated when troopers turned on patrol car lights and sirens. But then he struck a curb, and then a utility pole cable before hitting a tree, which resulted in Henry being “cut in half at the waist.” An autopsy is scheduled. Police say Henry was not wearing a helmet.
* See, kids? Always wear a helmet.
* An autopsy? I’m no Bones, but I bet I could figure out what killed him.
* He tried to split the scene, and he did.
* Here’s how out of it I am this morning. When I first saw this headline I wondered if the guy survived or not.
* This is one of those ones where they don’t even say he died because they don’t have to.
* You just schedule the autopsy and move on.
* Now the tough part: finding two sets of pallbearers.
