FISH ON A POWER LINE TAKES OUT TOWN'S ELECTRICITY
172 customers in Seattle, Washington, lost power Wednesday afternoon due to a fish on the power line. Seattle City Light said a fish was apparently dropped onto the power lines by a bird just after noon Wednesday. Power was restored by 2:15 p.m., the utility said. The company said the fish is believed to have been a salmon and was likely dropped by an eagle.
* Also, said the power company, it was delicious.
* The salmon was cooked just right so the power company put out an urgent request for some dill sauce.
* I wish these eagles would recognize that we’re trying to live on this planet too.
* At least stop changing your mind about lunch while you’re still carrying it.
* Maybe this was just a test run before the eagles move to take out the main transmission station.
* A salmon on the power line? Sounds more like a perch.
* The poor fish was thinking, “Great, the eagle dropped me. I’m falling back into the water now.”
* Speaking of losing power, can you believe Russell Wilson threw 5 picks last weekend in Green Bay?
* Oh well, I’m sure the Rams provided Seattle with some much needed relief last night.
