ELON MUSK WANTS SPACEX SUITS TO LOOK COOL

Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of SpaceX, recently hired an acclaimed superhero costume designer to create cool spacesuits for the SpaceX astronauts. The spacesuit will be utilized in the SpaceX Mission to Mars, scheduled in 2018. Musk wants to make the spacesuits look ‘badass’. He hired the legendary superhero costume designer Jose Fernandez, who has worked on movie costumes for Batman v Superman, Oblivion, Tron: Legacy, The Avengers, Iron Man and Jupiter Ascending. Fernandez says he’s designed a suit, and now they are reverse-engineering it to make functional for flight. Fernandez also admitted that he thought SpaceX was just another Sci-Fi superhero movie before he discovered it’s a real space program.
* Do the spacesuits have nipples, like George Clooney’s Batman suit?
* Will they have capes?
* And how he handles the whole “codpiece” issue should be interesting.
* How about a retro look, like Leslie Neilsen in “Forbidden Planet”?
* I was getting pretty excited until they mentioned “Jupiter Ascending.”
* Yeah, it’s a real space program if everything goes right.
* That phrase “scheduled in 2018” isn’t exactly carved in stone.
* He does have the right idea though: If you’re going to do it, you want to look cool.
* Now all he needs is some trash-talking movie slogans.
* How about, “Mars, we own your sorry ass!”
