DOMINO'S BOX OF WINGS CONTAINED $5,000
A San Jose, California, woman named Selena Avalos ordered a box of chicken wings from Domino’s during her lunch break. But inside the box was not chicken wings, but $5,000 in cash. Avalos suspected that the money was the Domino’s bank deposit. She called the restaurant, but did not hear from them for over a day. Eventually, the restaurant manager was contacted. Not only did Domino’s give her free pizza for a year, but her employer gave her a week off with pay for her honesty.
* Ironically, if she had kept the money, she could have gone someplace fun during her extra week off.
* When told she would get free Domino’s for a year, Selena asked, “What’s second prize?”
* Who’s the dumb cluck put five grand in a box of chicken wings?
* I’ve never worked in fast food, but wouldn’t it be a good idea to check what’s in a box before you give it to a customer?
* I suppose this is nice but it depends how badly you wanted the chicken wings.
* Now she’s suing them for getting her order wrong.
* Next up they have to call the bank and get her chicken wings order out of the vault.
* The restaurant manager sure runs a tight ship … too bad it’s the Titanic.
* Chicken wings on her lunch break from work? Well, that part checks out.
