COUPLE ROBS BANK, POST PICS ON FACEBOOK OF THEM HOLDING THE MONEY

A couple arrested this week for robbing an Ohio bank had posted photos to Facebook showing them posing with stacks of cash in the days following the crime. John Mogan, 28, and Ashley Duboe, 24, are charged with the August 24 robbery of a bank in Ashville, Ohio. According to police, four days after the bank robbery, the two began posing for pictures with the money and posting them on Facebook. The couple was soon recognized as the robbers and arrested. There’s one of Mogan with fans of cash in each hand as he’s embracing Duboe. There’s one showing Mogan with a wad of bills in his mouth. The image prompted one of his relatives to complain that the flush Mogan “didn’t hook a brother up.” Other photos posted to the Facebook page shared by Mogan and Duboe show Mogan pretending that the brick of cash is a phone, as well as his lunch.
* Lunch, eh? I hope he enjoys the tossed salad he’ll get in prison.
* Do they not understand the concept of Facebook? I mean, it’s in the name: F-A-C-E-book.
* You heard of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List? These guys were on the FBI’s Ten Most Stupid.
* It’s nostalgic in a way. This is kind of like when Bonnie and Clyde used to pose for pictures.
* Of course, there wasn’t an Internet then and everyone didn’t have a computer.
* Let me rephrase that: No one had a computer.
* Wow, after all the stories where the criminals get caught during the robbery, here’s one where they got away and they still blow it.
