COUPLE ORDERS AT DRIVE-THRU, NEVER MAKES IT TO PICKUP WINDOW

A couple pulled their car into a McDonald’s in the Florida Keys on Tuesday night. They placed their order. But, they never made it to the pickup window. A McDonald’s employee went outside to find out what was going on and saw them asleep in the car, still at the ordering speaker. Police were called. An officer approached the car, finding the woman “asleep, mouth open, with drool coming down her face.” He tried to wake her but she “continued to sit with her eyes closed.” She finally woke up and “looked at me as if she had no idea where she was.” She then shook the driver awake. Both smelled of alcohol. Arrested was driver Kevin Yonson, 28, who didn’t have a driver’s license and initially gave his last name as Johnson. Yonson also is a registered sex offender in West Virginia, and he hadn’t registered in Florida as a sex offender, as required by law. He also has three drunk-driving convictions in South Carolina, one in 2008 and two last year. The woman was taken back to her hotel. Yonson, however, was booked into the county jail,
* Never try to pass off a Whopper of a lie at McDonald’s.
* What a tragedy. I hate seeing McDonald’s fries go to waste.
* They both passed out at the same time? Maybe that shows they were meant for each other.
