CARL SPACKLER ARRESTED

A man has been arrested on suspicion of planting a pair of homemade bombs on a Northern California golf course. Kevin Hornbuckle, 49, faces possession and manufacturing of a destructive device charges after two bombs were found on the course at the Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park, California, about 50 miles north of San Francisco. Club employees on Saturday found one of the explosive devices on the 18th hole fairway and took it to the facility’s maintenance yard. The golf club was evacuated before police destroyed the bomb. Authorities said Hornbuckle told them that the device was an “acid-bomb.” Club employees told police they also found remnants of a second bomb which appeared to have been detonated at the golf course on Friday night.

* Usually when you play golf and get bombed, it’s afterwards in the clubhouse.

* I don’t know about this guy. For starters I don’t think Kevin Hornbuckle is his real name.
* Did this Kevin Hornbuckle happen to say what the hell he was trying to accomplish or is that one of those mysteries?
* Now he’s asking the judge for a mulligan.
* His behavior was sub-par.
* Setting a bomb on a golf course is bad enough, but it’s even worse if you don’t replace the divot.
* Of course, I’m assuming you’d treat a bomb crater like it was a bad divot.
