BURGLAR PAINTS DOG PURPLE
Police in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts say a man broke into a home on Martha’s Vineyard and painted the resident’s dog purple. Police responded to a report around 2:30 p.m. Saturday that a man had stolen a vehicle, crashed it, and then fled on foot. Soon after, officers were called to a nearby home where the resident reported someone had forced in a first-floor window, stolen items, and painted their dog purple. Officers located and arrested Felix Reagan, who had purple paint on his pants.
* You idiot! You’re supposed to use a drop cloth!
* Why’d he do it? Ask Sherwin Williams.
* Sounds like a Prince fan.
* By the way, great job of guarding the house, dog.
* The dog just stood there and took it? Sounds like the American People listening to the candidates – only we were covered in B.S.
* Brilliant move really. By painting the dog, the burglar has a pretty good insanity defense.
* A burglar who paints the dog purple. Well, that’s a horse of a different color. And a dog, too.
* Q: Why did the burglar paint the dog purple?
A: Because he was all out of green.
* Wasn’t there an old R & B song by Rufus Thomas called “Painting the Dog”? (It was actually called “Walking the Dog”.)
