BURGLAR CAUGHT BY HIS BODY ODOR

A Scottish thief is behind bars after being caught by his body odor. Back in January, Barry O’Pray, 35, broke in to Ryan Boyd’s apartment in Kilmarnock, Scotland, and made off with game consoles and other electronic equipment. Mr. Boyd had spotted O’Pray and an accomplice sitting near his home on the morning of the break-in – and was choked by the smell coming from them as he passed them. When he returned to his home later that day, he smelled the same smell in the house, and then noticed his property was missing. Ryan then contacted a local game store to see if the thieves had pawned his possessions and was told they had been in just a few minutes earlier. Boyd was able to identify O’Pray from the store’s security footage. O’Pray admitted his guilt to police. The case just hit the courts last week.
