BEST PLACE FOR A ZOMBIE ATTACK: ORLANDO, FLORIDA

Where the best place to be in case of a zombie attack? Researchers at Lawn Love – a lawn care service that thinks they know about zombies – analyzed 26 key factors that measure “zombie preparedness” across 200 U.S. cities. They looked at the number of people in poor health in the community, the number of local supermarkets, the number of hunting supply stores, and the number of basements or bunkers under local homes.
– The best place to be for a zombie apocalypse: Orlando, Florida, tops the list in terms of supplies and protection, vulnerability and mobility. (* Have they even seen Orlando at rush hour?) Other Florida cities – Tampa (6th) and Miami (8th) finished in the top 10. Other the top zombie-proof cities are Salt Lake City, Honolulu, Portland, Boise, Springfield and Colorado Springs.
– At the opposite end of the apocalypse, the study finds Nevada is not a good place to be when the zombies come. Although Las Vegas ranked 19th, four other Nevada cities finished at the very bottom of the list – Sunrise Manor, Paradise, Enterprise, and Spring Valley. New Jersey is also a bad place to go if you’re trying to outrun the undead. Paterson, Newark, and Jersey City all finished near the bottom of the survival rankings.
* Not because zombies can move around better in New Jersey, but just because… well, who wants to be in New Jersey?
* Orlando is a good place to deal with the undead, because they already know how to deal with the half-dead.
* I’d be happy knowing the best place to survive the next week-and-a-half leading up to the election.
* Don’t these people have some lawns that need mowing?
