AUDIO: WOMAN SINGS NATIONAL ANTHEM AT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL
While visiting the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. on June 16th, a woman named G. Star Swain was encouraged to sing “The National Anthem” by what sounds like her husband. He shot a video, it hit YouTube, and the rest is history. As she sings, first one person notices, then another, then another, and soon enough everybody has turned to watch her. It’s a beautiful moment. Ruined only by a guy at the end going, “If you want her, I’m her manager. Call me,” before giving out the phone number.

* Yeah, well YOU find a better way to get free press these days.
* So … it was just a commercial? Suckers!
* Well, it beats going through the grind of “American Idol.”
* It was so good, Abe Lincoln started tappin’ his foot.
* It was so good, the soldiers in the Iwo Jima statue put up a second flag.
* It was so good, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial walked over and sat on Abe Lincoln’s lap just to listen.
* She sang and the rest is history? Look, it’s a viral YouTube clip. Let’s not get crazy here.
* It’ll be forgotten the next time a cat chases a flashlight beam.
* Do you realize the trouble this will cause? Every singer out there is going to try a stunt like this.
* I’d go see the Lincoln Memorial now before Trump replaces it with a statue of himself.
