AUDIO: MATTRESS STORE AIRS EXTREMELY BAD TASTE 9/11- THEMED AD

The Miracle Mattress store in San Antonio, Texas is causing outrage over a TV commercial honoring, if you can believe it, the victims of 9/11. In the ad, a woman is making the sales pitch for their “Twin Tower Sale,” standing in front of two male employees and two “twin towers” of mattresses – buy any size mattress, pay only the price of a “twin” size mattress. At the end, she throws her arms out, hitting the two men, who fall into the towers of mattresses, knocking them over. The kicker: she says “We’ll never forget.”

* Those have to be Miracle Mattresses, because … how else do the people at that store sleep at night?
* Too soon? To shut this company down, I mean.
* It’ll be a miracle if they’re still open by 9/11.
* I wonder what they do on Hitler’s birthday?
* This is a king-size eff-up, I wanna tell ya.
* I don’t think the term “bad taste” comes close to covering this.
* And I once had a plaid suit.
* She says “We’ll never forget” and they won’t, especially when they’re standing in the unemployment line.
* Besides, mattress sales are how we honor President’s Day.
