AUDIO: MAN STEALS FROM WHOLE FOODS
I don’t want to say Whole Foods is expensive, but… a 37-year-old San Francisco man was arrested back on February 25 for a series of thefts at Whole Foods stores in the city. Police say he took nearly $21,000 worth of stuff over five visits. Anthony Drayton was booked on five counts of grand theft between December and February.
* Who’s the real thief here?
* Did most of the stuff come from the organic produce bins?
* That’s, like, $4,000 of shoplifting each time. He was able to slip out the store unnoticed because you can easily fit $4,000 worth of Whole Food stuff in a fanny pack.
* The main giveaway – he didn’t drive off in a Porsche, a Range Rover, a Lamborghini, a Ferrari …
* Take this as a warning, Trader Joe’s.
