AUDIO: MAN CAUSES POWER OUTAGE IN NASHVILLE
Several thousand people south of downtown Nashville were without power because of one man. A witness called 911 when he heard a loud boom. The witness said he then saw a man standing on an electrical substation. The man was hanging on to part of the equipment and his pants were on fire. He said he could also see sparks flying from the equipment on the substation. The fire department and emergency medical services found the man inside the fence surrounding the substation. The witness said the man was moaning and screaming, “Where am I? Where am I? How did I get here?” He was last listed in critical but stable condition.
