AUDIO: MAN ARRESTED FOR KEEPING TWO DEER IN HIS HOME

A man in Cabell County, West Virginia, kept two deer inside his home for at least a year. Officers responded to the home on Saturday after receiving a complaint, police said. When they arrived, they found two deer inside the home. An investigation revealed the animals had been living inside the home for at least a year, police said. The deer were set free, and the man, who was not identified, is now facing charges, police said. Confining wildlife anywhere that they are not allowed to freely roam is illegal, police said.
* A complaint? Who complains about adorable little deer?
* What people won’t do for a couple of bucks.
* He’ll need to buy a new hat rack, that’s for sure.
* And carpet, too.
* Thanks for setting them free. The little guys are probably dead from starvation by now.
* Ironically, if he had killed them for the venison it would have been fine.
* It’s probably better. I hear the deer just lounged around on the sofa all day watching Animal Planet.
* You know it’s bad when the doorbell rings and it’s a hungry bear.
* I don’t think a can of air freshener is going to cover this.
