AUDIO: 911 CALL OVER WRONG PIZZA TOPPINGS

A Connecticut woman called 911 to complain about her local pizzeria allegedly mixing up her order. In the 911 call, the woman can be heard asking the emergency dispatcher whether police would be able to “do something” to resolve her dispute with Empire Pizza in Hartford. The woman, identified only as Ashley, claimed she ordered a half-cheese, half-bacon pizza but received a half-cheese, half-hamburger one instead. The police declined to pursue the matter. The owners of the pizza place told police they would have refunded Ashley’s money over the error had she not eaten half the pizza.
* She was halfway through before she realized it wasn’t bacon?
* The police declined to pursue it? Why? We’re easily talking about a matter of ten, maybe twelve dollars here!
* Wait – bacon on a pizza? Not giving her that might have saved her life.
* If you make pizza with bacon on it, be careful. It could just explode in the oven.
* Half-cheese, half bacon. That’s the problem with this country. Everything is half-ass now.
* “Sorry we couldn’t get to your emergency 911 call sooner. We’re dealing with a screwed-up pizza order right now.”
* Ashley’s had a little too much Crazy Bread.
* On the phone call, she sounds as baked as the pizza.
* At least they went with hamburger instead of bacon so it’s not like they tricked her into something healthy.
