ANOTHER WACKY NEWS STORY FROM FLORIDA: ANGRY MAN SMASHES WRONG CAR

A Bradenton, Florida, man is charged with felony criminal mischief after he smashed a car which he thought belonged to his friend, only to find out the vehicle belonged to his friend’s neighbor. Authorities say that Ryan T. Smith, 22, had a vendetta against his friend, and used a baseball bat to express his rage on his friend’s car. Unfortunately for Smith, his friend’s neighbor owns a similar make and model of vehicle, and Smith did not spot the difference, allegedly causing $1,600 in damage in last Tuesday’s incident.
* Yeah, but if he had picked the right car, it would still have been a bad thing to do.
* Picking the wrong car is not the principal error in judgement here.
* Things are going to be a little awkward in the neighborhood.
* Worst of all, after he smashed the car he felt better, but now he’s mad all over again. AND he feels stupid.
* A vendetta against his friend? Wouldn’t the correct term here be “enemy”?
* At least downgrade it to “an acquaintance.”
* I see the baseball bat stories are rounding into mid-season form.
* It’s America’s Pastime: Violence.
* So mighty Ryan just struck out.
* Someday they’ll all look back on this and laugh. Or not.
* PHONE TOPIC: The Wrong [Blank]. Did you ever break, destroy, buy, take home – whatever – the wrong thing?
